Investing in your love story

First things first, your wedding is a huge deal to me.

Connecting with my couples and making sure they receive the best service they are expecting is the most important thing to me on your wedding day.  During an average wedding day, not only do I keep things organized and on schedule, but I feel like I’m a (third) mom, a coordinator, ninja photographer, schedule keeper, weather girl, and so many more roles.

Choosing your photographer is one of the biggest decisions you’ll have to make when planning your wedding. After your wedding day, the photos are what’s left over (and maybe some delicious cake and wedding favors) to remember everything about your special day. You’ll never regret investing in an awesome professional photographer you vibe with!

I love capturing your love story that breathes your personality and I create a customized gallery for you that represents your uniqueness and the way you feel for each other. This is my dream job and I’ll do whatever it takes to make you feel as relaxed as possible while taking all the photos of your wedding day.

My job is to make sure you have the best day ever because you deserve it, to make you as relaxed as possible, organized when it comes to photography, and you have the best moments captured to last for lifetimes.  Every couple and wedding is beautifully unique so wedding day coverage might look different for everyone. Feel free to email me for more wedding day coverage details and see what works for you!

Extra Hours:

Pretty straight forward! If you need extra hours of wedding day coverage, just let me know! If you discover in the wedding planning process that you’ll need additional hours of coverage, that can easily be added to your overall total and contract. If you think you’ll need extra hours during your wedding day, just let me know the day of and I’ll send you an invoice later.

Engagement Session:

Second Shooter:

Thinking of having a second shooter for your wedding day? There are many reasons why you should and shouldn’t have a second shooter at your wedding; so to help you decide, I wrote a blog post! Check it out here.

Rehearsal Dinner:

These are for more candid, fun moments you’d like documented before your wedding day! This coverage would be your wedding day rehearsal, dinner with friends, family, and bridal party, etc. If you might want this evening captured, let me know and we can easily add it to your wedding package.

This is something new I’m offering to my couples! I was taking some polaroid shots at a recent wedding and fell in love with this idea! So I started to offer it :) For just $35, I’ll take some fun candid shots of your wedding day (8 total) and send them to you after your wedding day so you don’t have to worry about who has them at the end of the night. This is the traditional larger polaroid shots so you get a bigger image than the Instax photos.

I include an engagement session in my packages because I LOVE hanging out with my couples before the wedding and capture great moments that remind them of their season of engagement. Building a relationship with my couples is super important to me so having an adventure and hanging out is always amazing fun!

Session entails:

~Up to 2 hours of shooting

~Up to 2 outfits

~2 locations

I recommend also bringing something fun to make your session feel more like a date. Bring some popcorn, cookies and milk for a picnic, matching jerseys, anything that you two love together.

If interested in only booking an engagement session, please email me!

 The Process

A step by step guide to what it’s like to work with me

Step 1: We chat it up!

We hop on a FaceTime or Skype call and chat all about your wedding day vision and we get to know each other. Tell me all your hopes and dreams for your wedding and I can help with timeline building so we get everything captured that you want. If you’re good to go and want to work with me, then I send you a contract to make it official!

Step 2: Engagement Session Time!!

We get your engagement session scheduled! After your deposit is paid, we can then discuss when you'd like to schedule your complimentary engagement session. I don’t charge for traveling for the engagement session, so we can go wherever your heart desires!  I love adventuring with my coupes for their engagement session so we can hang out, you get to see my shooting style, and we just have fun!

I typically deliver your entire engagement gallery within 7-10 business days, but I also send a sneak peek a day or two right after our session in case you need a photo to make your 'save the dates' or wedding website.

Step 3: Break time!

After your engagement session, you won't really hear from me until we get closer to your wedding day. But if you have any questions about timeline building, wedding day details, or anything, you can message me at any time. Seriously! If you need help glueing seashells to some mason jars- I’m your girl!

Step 4: Wedding Questionnaire, here we go!

I send you a wedding questionnaire via email about 6 weeks before your wedding day. This questionnaire helps me create the customized gallery for you that is unique to your love story. I ask for wedding day specifics like location of ceremony, reception, wedding timeline, what detail shots you'd like, etc. It should only take about 10 minutes to complete.

I also ask all my couples to put together a Shot List and a Wedding Timeline for me as a guide and as a way to keep everthing organized and on schedule. You can put those in an email or in the questionnaire.

What's a shot list?

A Shot List is a list of all possible combinations you want for family portraits. This really helps get through family portraits quickly and back to your wedding day events. If you need an example of a shot list, just shoot me an email!

Step 5: The Big Day!

Wedding Day! YAY! I tend to arrive a little before our scheduled time to meet just to scope the area out for family pictures, first look, bridal party photos, golden hour photos, etc. I’m with you each step of the way so whatever you need on your wedding day- just let me know!

PS: I’ll also be bringing snacks, lots of water, and even TUMS if you need it.

Step 6: The Aftermath

Wedding Day Sneak Peek Gallery!

I usually send you a sneak peek within 24-48 hours after your wedding just so you can relive it all over again, change your profile picture, etc. The rest of the gallery is sent out within 3-4 weeks.

I also send you a 25 matted print set gift of some of your day's biggest moments like first kiss, first dance, first look, etc, just so you have printed pictures ready to display in your home if you'd like!
