A little about me…
I am in love with the smell of rain and coffee in the morning, puppy paws, and musicals.
I’m a Wedding, Elopement, and Engagement photographer in the gorgeous Washington State and am obsessed with adventure.
I was born in California (where my SoCal girls at?!), but was moved up to Washington when I was young and have never left. I’ve lived all over the state, and have loved every part of it, so it’s safe to say that WA has my heart. The PNW is seriously so gorgeous; I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
Whether you’re planning a huge wedding or a smaller, intimate one in your backyard, I’m always super organized and my goal is to keep everyone on schedule and relaxed, so you can enjoy your wedding day without worry.
My plan for every wedding day is that you are present throughout your day, soaking in each beautiful moment, while I’m being what I like to call a "ninja photographer" (sneaking in a shot while no one is looking while quickly busting a dance move…yup!), capturing moments you might forget so you can relive them with your personalized gallery for many years to come.
There are so many stressful things about weddings, with both planning and the day itself, but photography won’t be one of them with me. Coming from a background in communications, I make sure everyone is on the same page, your photography vision is organized, and you flat out enjoy your beautiful big day.
I am obsessed with traveling all over Washington State for weddings, engagements, and adventures. Woohoo!
Sound good? Cool.

I'm married to my best friend
and love of my life,
Matt and I have been married for a year and a half now and its seriously the best thing ever. EVER! Like, marriage is the best! We met in December of 2014 while both working on the same Facebook team for Costc and we’ve been together ever since. We had a perfect summer wedding on August 13th, 2017 and we are based in Yakima for now. We love traveling all over, so you might even meet him while on an engagement session adventure carrying all my stuff and making sure we’re all hydrated. :)
I name pretty much everything I own.
My main camera is named Oliver, second camera is Wilbur, my car is a Hyundai Tucson so of course his name is Tucker, and the craziness keeps going! Not sure where these names came from, but I really like ‘old man’ names, so I typically pick a name that’s like an old hipster man name that sounds adorable. Kenny the Keurig, Burt the Bowflex, Marius the MacBook Pro, and oh so much more.
Music is a big part of my life
I absolutely love watching musicals and even seeing them on stage. My new favorite musical is The Greatest Showman, but I'll always love Les Mis and Phantom of the Opera. I'm always singing the lines of each movie when shooting, editing, cleaning the house, at my desk, and basically all of the time. (Sorry husband!)
I also worked in the music industry for about 5 years throughout college. Managing bands, organizing large-scale festivals, and even working on a radio station. Yes, I was also in a little band and yes, I was a lead singer/ lead guitarist in this band, but I fell more in love with managing bands and working with other vendors than performing.
A little about my shooting style…
Most of the time I am a hands-off photographer and love to stand back and capture you being together and just 'you'. I do organize a series of poses that look great with you two, but I also like to see how you fall into a pose and how you two melt together. So not only will you get those classic posed wedding shots, but you'll also get those in-between moments of you guys looking at each other, laughing together, walking together, etc.
I keep my editing style very classic Pacific Northwest with deep rich tones but still keep the natural light present. I’d say I have a classic PNW style with fun, natural, elegant, and whimical vibes. I want to capture your you and not a pose that doesn’t fit your personality. So we’re going to move, dance, laugh, joke around, and capture your you.
For most of the wedding day, I am a candid photographer. I like to be a fly on the wall and capture candid moments of you getting ready, the ceremony, and reception. It’s all about capturing your big days as they actually happen, and making beautiful and meaningful photos from it.
During the wedding party and family portraits, I like to take those classic 'looking at the camera' photos, but also like to take photos in-between those moments of you guys laughing, looking at each other, joking around, etc. So for wedding party and family pictures, you'll get some candid and posed images. A little bit of everything!
I also consider myself to be a ninja-photographer, so I sneak around during the reception and ceremony taking pictures when people are not looking. I also tend to bust a move during the reception and capture some fun and candid moments of guests dancing (because let's face it, that's the best way to get those photos). Everything is captured and well documented!
Frequently Asked Questions
02. Do you use a Second shooter?
I can hire a second shooter if the couple really wants one! I am 100% comfortable shooting weddings on my own, but if there is a couple who really wants a second shooter to cover cocktail hour while I’m taking family pictures, or want extra coverage of their ceremony, I have great second shooters in mind to help document your big day. No worries at all!
01. Do you travel?
Oh heck yes! Most of my weddings and sessions are all over WA state and even some out of state! I include travel fees in my package prices but only for WA state. In addition to traveling for weddings, I also travel for engagement session adventures, portrait sessions, and more. I’m always up for an adventure!!
03. Do you include an engagement session?
Yup! I love to hang out with my couples before their wedding day to hang out and get to know them while also taking fun pictures capturing their engagement. It’s usually about a 2-hour session and we can go adventure anywhere your heart desires.
